Considering the huge improvement from the previous g20 hybrid the ping g25 appearance is a very attractive club.

We accept that the previous style was not much of a looker but the g15 and g20 hybrids were excellent clubs that were easy to hit with a solid mid to high flight. I tested the ping g25 hybrid in a 20 degree loft with the stock tfc 189h in stiff flex. The mid level cost of the g25 will appeal to most high handicap to mid handicap players who want the latest in all around performance without breaking the bank. The tfc 189h weighs 71 grams with 3 1 degrees of torque.

The g25 came in for review and i was quite happy to see that ping went in a slightly different direction with the shape and overall makeup of their newest hybrid offering. The ping g25 hybrid reverts to a more wood style head and looks spookily similar to the ping anser hybrid which is not a bad thing. The ping g410 hybrid is the first ping hybrid with an adjustable hosel. I ve enjoyed the ease in which you can point and swing them.

Oems may move some weight or use a new material but the clubs look largely unchanged. Unfortunately the g series hybrids have been some of the ugliest clubs on the market too. Incredible consistency and surprising distance. The ping g25 hybrid breaks the mould of recent g hybrids because gone are the driving iron looks.

Improvements in hybrids are often impossible to see. In fact the g25 hybrid was my favorite looking club in the g25 line up. 50 words or less.
